The client decided to have a total redesign of her garden following building work at her property. A keen and knowledgeable gardener she wanted some form and order to the layout and to introduce prairie style planting. She also wished to keep her Acers and introduce more. A new silver grey stone patio edged with stone setts was laid and a bench seat was positioned at the end of a stepping stone path within the prairie planting. The existing summerhouse was relocated. As this garden was very wide but shallow in depth the design was set on an angle of 45 degrees to the house creating the illusion of a greater space.

The garden has given a wonderful display & proven a magnet for bees and butterflies. There is a lot of winter interest too. Visitors are very complimentary about your design and planting plan.
