This project required a Cheshire brick wall to be built replacing old fencing and to match the two existing walls creating a small walled courtyard. The old paving was replaced incorporating granite setts feature. A number of shallow pocket planting beds were installed next to the new wall for climbers. Hand made galvanised wire trellis panels were fixed to the wall and a lead lion’s head water feature were fixed to the wall. The view from the kitchen French doors was now of the water feature with quarter standard variegated hollies under planted with liriope & white pansies. An extremely private and low maintenance courtyard garden, as specified in my client’s brief, was satisfactorily achieved.
