CLADDING OPTIONS
THERMOWOOD
Thermowood is a beautiful sustainable timber manufactured by a chemical free heat treatment to very high temperatures. Preservatives are injected into the wood to ensure durability and zero maintenance
Thermowood is created by heat treating Scandinavian softwood to temperatures ranging from 180 – 230°.
Thermowood is resistant to rot and fungi.
CEDAR
Western Red Cedar is sourced from the Pacific Northwest from Northern California to Alaska.
Cedar is a modern fashionable and beautiful timber with colour ranges from light golden to mid dark brown and a slight tint of red. Left untreated, the Cedar will naturally weather into a beautiful natural silver finish.
Another option is to add a UV protection oil, we recommend OSMO UV Protection oil, it enhances the natural character of the wood and contains biocides to protect against algae, mildew and fungal attack.
UV-Protection Oil has been developed to maintain the wood’s natural colour and slow the greying process by (UV factor) 12 times in comparison to untreated wood.
PROTECTION
